As the youngest daughter in her family, Sister Qiu was thoughtful and filial from childhood. As she grew older, she not only devoted herself to caring for her aging mother for many years, but also pursued the Tao diligently, guiding her family onto the path and dedicating her spiritual practice to uplifting her late father. Through selfless companionship, sincere compassion, and tireless dedication to helping others, she transformed familial love into greater universal love. Her life stands as a true example of honoring parents, repaying their grace, and practicing the Tao to benefit both family and society.

貼心幼女

邱姐是家中七個孩子中最小的女兒，從小就在父母辛勞中學會體貼與承擔。因父親身體欠安，她年紀輕輕便常幫忙煎藥照料；看見母親操持家務，也總是主動分憂解勞。在父母眼中，這位小女兒不僅乖巧懂事，更是最溫暖貼心的依靠。孝心，早已在她年少時悄悄扎根。

A Thoughtful Youngest Daughter

Sister Qiu was the youngest of seven children. From an early age, she learned compassion and responsibility through witnessing her parents’ hardships. Because her father was often in poor health, she helped prepare his medicine while still young. Seeing her mother burdened with household duties, she also willingly shared in the family responsibilities. In her parents’ eyes, this youngest daughter was not only obedient and sensible, but also their warmest and most caring support. Her filial heart had quietly taken root from childhood.

盡孝修道

父親於邱姐二十多歲時離世，成為她心中深深的遺憾。求道後，她更加明白行孝不僅在世間照顧，更在於引領父母同登法船。於是她積極渡化母親與兄姊求道，也努力修辦、廣結善緣，最終在至善班班員時期順利超拔父親，真正實踐了前人所說「為父母盡大孝」的慈悲精神，讓思親之情化為修道報恩的力量。

Practicing Filial Piety Through Tao Cultivation

When Sister Qiu was in her late twenties, her father passed away, leaving behind deep sorrow and regret. After seeking the Tao, she came to understand that true filial piety was not limited to worldly care, but also meant guiding one’s parents toward spiritual salvation. She therefore actively introduced her mother and siblings to the Tao, while dedicating herself to spiritual cultivation and helping others. Eventually, during her time serving in the Zhishan Class, she successfully dedicated merits to spiritually uplift her father, truly embodying the compassionate teaching of “fulfilling the greatest filial piety for one’s parents.” Her longing for her father became a source of strength in her path of gratitude and spiritual practice.

歲月守護

因看透人生無常，邱姐選擇單身陪伴母親左右，主動承擔起照顧母親的責任。多年來，從白內障手術、髖關節開刀，到肝腫瘤電燒治療，她始終寸步不離、細心守護。母親感動地說：「我要感恩妳，讓妳一直照顧我，卻讓妳一個人如此勞累。」兄姊們也由衷敬佩，感謝這位小妹成為母親最可靠的雙手。她用歲月證明，真正的孝順，是長久陪伴，是無怨無悔。

A Lifetime of Devoted Care

Having deeply realized life’s impermanence, Sister Qiu chose to remain single so she could stay by her mother’s side. She willingly took on the responsibility of caring for her mother’s daily life. Over the years, whether through cataract surgery, hip surgery, or liver tumor ablation treatment, she never left her mother’s side, offering attentive and unwavering care. Her mother, deeply moved, once said, “I am so grateful to you for always taking care of me, even though it has left you carrying such a heavy burden alone.” Her siblings, too, sincerely admired and appreciated their youngest sister for becoming their mother’s strongest support. Through the years, she proved that true filial devotion is steadfast companionship and selfless dedication.

大愛延續

邱姐不僅孝順母親，更將這份愛擴及眾生。她深知大道尊貴，不忍有緣人沉淪，因此持續回佛堂幫辦、廣渡有緣。今年更突破自我，勇敢報名講師培訓班，希望在修辦路上更精進提升。她以自身生命寫下最動人的見證：孝，是家庭中的溫暖；道，則讓這份愛走得更遠、更廣。

Extending Love Beyond Family

Sister Qiu’s filial love did not stop with her mother—it expanded to all beings. Deeply understanding the preciousness of the Tao, she could not bear to see others lost in suffering. She continuously returned to the temple to serve, guide, and help those with affinity. This year, she courageously challenged herself further by enrolling in lecturer training, hoping to advance even more on her path of cultivation and service. Through her life, she offers a moving testimony: filial piety is the warmth within a family, while the Tao allows that love to reach farther and wider.
